It&#8217;s on the 3F of a tall building right on the corner of DaAn and ZhongXiao East Road intersection (\u5927\u5b89\u5fe0\u5b5d\u6771\u8def\u8def\u53e3).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8277 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/dsc03323.jpg?resize=3264%2C4912&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC03323\" width=\"3264\" height=\"4912\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I&#8217;ve yet to visit Korea myself, but every time I see Toppoki on a menu my eyes light up. So, seeing the yellow, purple, green, original, different shaped and different length toppoki here just blew my mind at Dookki.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8278 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/dsc03326.jpg?resize=3264%2C4912&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC03326\" width=\"3264\" height=\"4912\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">A few of each to start. I&#8217;ll be back for more later! The yellow ones are carrot, the purple ones are purple rice, and the green ones are <a href=\"http:\/\/www.healthline.com\/health\/mugwort-weed-with-potential#overview1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Asian mugwort\u00a0<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8279 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/dsc03330.jpg?resize=3264%2C4912&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC03330\" width=\"3264\" height=\"4912\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">These are also a type of Toppoki, just a slightly different style.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8280 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/dsc03332.jpg?resize=3264%2C4912&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC03332\" width=\"3264\" height=\"4912\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">These things are weird, there&#8217;s no sugar coating that. I thought it was intestine, but on closer inspection it seems that they are the really popular Korean street snack Eomuk\/odeng (\uc5b4\ubb35(\uc624\ub385)). This street food is a style of fishcake, made by blending a variety of seafood into a paste and then either making it into a sausage-like shape, or what you can see here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8281 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/dsc03334.jpg?resize=3264%2C4912&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC03334\" width=\"3264\" height=\"4912\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Instant noodle Christmas!!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8282 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/dsc03335.jpg?resize=4912%2C3264&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC03335\" width=\"4912\" height=\"3264\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">There are a lot of sauces on offer at Dookki. My suggestion: try them all &#8211; why not?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8283 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/dsc03339.jpg?resize=3264%2C4912&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC03339\" width=\"3264\" height=\"4912\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In the foreground there are some delicious deep-fried fish bites, and in the background you can see some gyoza-like fried dumplings. After your hotpot is finished, leave some residue to make a wicked fried rice sauce. The cylinders on either end are small maki sushi-like deep fried bites &#8211; yes please!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8291\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/dsc03351.jpg?resize=4912%2C3264&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC03351\" width=\"4912\" height=\"3264\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Idiot proof instructions including lots of informative pictures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8286 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/dsc03342.jpg?resize=3264%2C4912&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC03342\" width=\"3264\" height=\"4912\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">We told the server at Dookki that we wanted a little spice, but not too much \u5c0f\u8fa3 (xi\u01ceo l\u00e0). We were possibly a little worried about getting it too spicy (Koreans like SPICY food), and this suited us quite well. You could taste the spice, without it being overpowering and mouth-watering spice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8288 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/dsc03346.jpg?resize=4912%2C3264&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC03346\" width=\"4912\" height=\"3264\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">By the time we had come back to our seats after collecting our ingredients to pop into the hot pot, our broth was already bubbling away and smelling great.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8287 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/eatingintaipei.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/dsc03343.jpg?resize=4912%2C3264&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"DSC03343\" width=\"4912\" height=\"3264\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">After perusing the food on offer in the &#8216;all you can eat&#8217; section at Dookki, we decided to buy an extra portion of beef. However, I won&#8217;t be doing it again. I feel like I&#8217;m camping or something. But, the fried rice was good.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Overall, I love the idea of <a href=\"https:\/\/eatingintaipei.com\/category\/restaurants\/korean\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Korean<\/a> all-you-can-eat at Dookki, especially for $349!! There are options available, and for the price I think it is reasonable.
